This is a good checklist for you when you are in the process of composing your final draft. You can reread your essay to make sure you get the "composing" section completed. Style can be done during the same process. Sentence Formation, Usage, and Mechanics are done through revising, proof reading, and peer-review. These stages are all important to write a good essay.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it is a good check list for not only your final draft but for all your stages. Because you don't want to procrastinate on any last minute ideas. You want to follow trough with your main idea from beginning to end.

It is helpful for students to use the rubric so we know if we meet the criteria, like, composing, style, sentence formation, usage, and mechanism. Another activity is about exemplification. It is another useful for writing, and it is about explaining using examples.

DeleteAfter going over the rubric for how my essays are graded, I realized that I've excelled in some areas of the rubric and faltered on others. More specifically, I think I need to work on my mechanics and sentence formation when writing my essays. Other than that, the rest of my dad consisted on working on myreadinglab.

DeleteWe needed to check out the rubric on how to write an essay to help us understand what we need to work on. I think this is a good thing to remember or look at when writing one's essay to better their work. People can use this rubric to work on the things they would usually have mistakes on. Hopefully this will help me have a better grade than 89% on my next test.

ReplyDeleteAs I review the rubric, I realize my errors. This rubric allowed me to prepare for the next essay or for any essay. I didn't know such rubric existed until today! It's wonderful to finally have some sort of help as I write an essay. Hopefully my next essay will receive a passing grade as I use this rubric.
It really is helpful when you use the rubric.
