I found this resource useful because I learned from it. There are a lot of times I probably misused words especially in punctuation. I would check this website again if I was feeling unsure about a certain sentence in my paper. Today in class we reviewed cause and effect and how to organize these in lists. This really can help a student find ways to write better and make the process much more understandable. We also did peer review which really helps me to find mistakes that I wouldn't have found on my own.

I find this resource very useful because every now and then, I tend to make the same mistakes. Today, we went over causes and effects. I found the topic easy because it is somewhat common sense.
ReplyDeleteI agree, cause and effect is basic common sense. For instance, Why do baseball players use drugs? The answer is for fortune, cars, and fancy clothes.

DeleteAs I was reading the common mistakes in writing, I noticed that I do these mistakes when i write. I thought that this link was helpful to me and my classmates as well because now we know that to use and how to use it. Today, i thought was very productive because we are working on our essays and i definitely need the use of this time :)

DeleteI do find this resource very useful because I do make a lot of errors when it comes to grammar and spelling. I do admit that I am not that good in English. As I read through the common mistakes I realized there are a lot that I make. It is helpful to read through all the common mistakes to make you a better writer. Class was pretty simple today and it was actually helpful because I have a lot to do and the fact that class went fast today really helped.

DeleteI found the link above very useful for careless mistakes that we can make on our essay. I make the same errors like, forgetting to put a comma or sometimes I like to rerun my sentences. So, the link above was really useful. Today, we learned about information that will help us on our essay, like thesis, outlining, organizing, etc. I find this essay difficult because we have to cite and look for sources to support our information.

Also,the words were affect and effect always confused me because I switched the meaning of the words, but now I know the difference. In today's activities, I peer reviewed my classmate's essay. I remembered to use the correct punctuation in the right places, like the commas.

ReplyDelete"Common Mistakes of English Grammar, Mechanics, and Punctuation" was definitely useful. I find it helpful because I often tend to make these mistakes on my essays. It will surely be able to assist me whenever I'll be writing. We learned about cause and effect. Cause is why an event happens and effect is an event that happens because of a cause. Learning about this is also useful because I sometimes get mixed up.

DeleteAfter reviewing the "Common Mistakes of English Grammar, Mechanics, and Punctuation" was insightful because I tend to have many mechanical and punctuation errors in my essays. I found it very useful because I never really learned the foundations of how to write an essay and what I should avoid in the past.
