I think that we should avoid run on sentences for many reasons. If a sentence is not ended appropriately, the intended meaning can be changed or misunderstood. The meaning can be incomprehensible.

ReplyDeleteRun-on sentences makes the sentences seem to long and make the sentence incorrect. We should avoid it because basically because that is the proper way to write and it makes the sentence easier to understand because if the sentence is a run-on it, it will make the sentence seem packed and confusing. I am about to do moodle.

DeleteWe should avoid run-on sentences, so our writing is understandable. Run on sentence is not allowed to use on University. We should not use run on in our writing, because it is not appropriate. We should avoid run on, so our reader will understand our writing. Speaking and writing is different when using run-on. It is very important to use a punctuation in a sentence, so we cannot confuse our reader. Another activity is about classification.

DeleteRun-on sentences are to be avoided at all cause. We believe that adding the appropriate punctuation would help the sentence, however there is another way in fixing the sentence. As much as we want to make the reader understand what you're writing about, it is highly important to have the appropriate sentence structures. I admit to making run-on sentences because I thought that the longer the sentence was, the better it'll look on my essay. However, that is highly incorrect. It's better to have several sentences explaining your topic rather than one completely long sentence.
