  1. I found this resource to be very useful because, a lot of people make mistakes on their grammar, so with the help of the whole list people can tell the difference on what the word is. This list can also help us in our essays and our work if we needed some words to use in our category. In today's class, it was good to hear other people's essay. It got me to see the difference in everyone's essay and see what I can do to be or help me and my essay.

  2. I found this resource to be useful because I tend to make several of these common mistakes. No one is perfect so I am sure that most, if not all of us make several mistakes that we do not realize until we get our essays peer reviewed. In addition, I found today’s activity interesting because I enjoyed listening to my peers’ papers and knowing their positions on certain topics. In addition, I am humbled and thankful for the praises that my peers have said about me. PEA is definitely a fun exercise because you get to know what others think of you.

It should be a good practice for teenagers to start using the correct words in their sentences just so that they do not get misunderstood in the long run. Today's activity with the PEA was a boost to my self confidence and it feels nice knowing what others think of your personality. Today's essay was not easy, but it the expository essay was a good warm up.

  10. The resource that Dr. Rivera had given us, I found incredibly useful. By me doing an argumentative essay I saw how effective it was to do research. I saw that I was not able to brainstorm because of the fact that I knew very little about my topic. But once I began doing my research upon it, I saw how writing my essay became a breeze. Listening in today's presentation i heard many great points from my other classmates.

  11. Yes this reflection is useful. It is common sense for most of us that we have learned throughout our high school years. I know most of us gets confused on the words but we should always double check our grammar errors. We all makes mistakes and that is fine. As long we learn our mistakes of what is the differences of the words that fits the sentences. Today activity, the PEA made me think am I really that funny? It is nice to know that a few of my classmates thinks I'm funny even if I am quiet most of the time. The argumentative essay was hard for me because I did not know how to work cited it and I procrastinated. I wish I spent more time on the essay knowing what was my mistake on the last essay than I would have done better on the argumentative essay.

  18. After reviewing the common mistakes of grammar, I have realized that I make a lot of errors in using "a lot as alot". According to the site, there is no such word as "alot" instead it is written as "a lot" and is defined as "many". Another common error in using "a lot" would be writing it as "allot". In today's activity, I learned that I have many errors when I write down certain words, whether it is spelling or by definitions.
