DeleteYes, I find this resource useful because it shows how you can use the words in a sentence and it also shows the differences of words that are related to each other such as "Jealous, Envious, Suspicious." I can apply this to my future writing in essays. Today, we presented our essays, post on blog site, and posting our essays on moodle.

Delete*In addition* The "PEA" is a small note that we passed around and wrote one positive thing about the person. It was a great way to make our day, especially if we are having a bad day.
DeleteI thought that the link was useful to show us what we should watch out for when writing or typing out work. Today in class we needed to present our Argumentative Essay Test #4 to the class. My essay topic was about drunk drivers and how much of a threat and danger they are to everyone on the road. I was also able to listen to my fellow classmates and their topics for their argumentative essay. I think this essay was not that easy compared to the other tests I needed to turn in. Mainly because I had a hard time finding the right research for it. I believe this was still a good topic to discuss and bring up because I just want to feel safe any time I would like to go out for a small drive.

DeleteI am guilty of making most of these mistakes such as having a difficult time choosing between present tense and past tense. This list will be very beneficial to me in any of my future essays. I will be able to make less mistakes than before. It's suddenly hitting me that the semester is almost over. This is the last major essay, besides the final reflection. I was able to do as much research as possible dealing with divorce. I believe that my essay is well thought out and more organized than my last essay. As I read the PEA, I realize how kind everyone in my class is. These kind words will help me whenever I feel down. (Thank you everyone!)

ReplyDeleteThis link was very helpful. I have made many mistakes and choices with my English grammar. This link helps with choosing the correct one. Yesterday, we had the PEA presentation. We learned about good stress and bad stress. We took a survey about stress levels. In today's activities, we presented our essays in front of the class and blogged.

DeleteMost of the common mistakes are due to homophones. Homophones are words that are pronounced similarly to other words, such as there, their, and they’re. Some other mistakes can be caused by a similar definition. Words can have similar definitions, but one word can be more extreme than the other.

DeleteI have made these mistakes in the past and the link is very helpful. Some of those words are confusing, and often mistaken. My PEA was just lovely. Everyone is just too kind:). This time around, I did my essay last minute. Thankfully, I finished it on time.
